The Circus Wouldn’t Have Me is an illustrated picture book (ages 3-6) that addresses the sense of belonging and being loved.

From the earliest age children wonder how they fit in to the world and imagine ‘what if’ scenarios as part of their play. The Circus Wouldn’t Have Me playfully engages with ‘what if’ scenarios of a boy who playfully imagines himself in various scenarios in which he humorously doesn't quite fit... as he visits the circus, zoo, firehall, a science lab and a farm. Ultimately he knows he belongs at home, where he is loved.

This easy to read book is a short and sweet bedtime reader with colourful, eye-catching images.
